Freelance Application at Alpha CRC

In order to ensure scalability and speed while keeping quality high, Alpha CRC also maintains an extensive network of trusted freelancers.

The initial onboarding for freelancers begins with a review of their first three live projects by either an in-house translator or another highly trusted vendor. This review is visible to all project managers, and helps to ensure that all of Alpha CRC’s projects use the highest quality vendors. As Alpha CRC aims to ensure its clients always receive the highest quality localization, it enforces a strict three-strikes policy with freelancers, wherein if they get three bad reviews, they are removed from the vendor database.

Applicants using the freelancer application form will need the following linguistic qualifications in order to be successful, and to be added to the Alpha CRC vendor database, in accordance with ISO 17100, paragraph 3.1.4:

• BA or higher degree in Translation; BA in any other field plus two years of full-time experience in translating; 5 years of full-time professional experience in translating.
• Advanced user of CAT tools

All successful applicants will need to sign an NDA before they can be an active vendor.
